I want to work with visual artists and curators whose practice is grounded in filmmaking, video and installation art. They should have a strong interest in cultural studies, historical critique, global politics, the borders between fiction and documentary, and the different narrative possibilities involved in filmmaking. The ideal participant will have an emerging or established career, and will master the techniques and processes involved in film production and exhibition making. I’m interested in working with a diverse group, from various cultural backgrounds.
Applicants should submit a 500-word letter of intent and ten images representative of their practice. (.jpg, .pdf, doc, .docx, – no more than 10mb each)
Residency Fee: $900
