“A good artist lets his intuition lead him wherever it wants” – Lao Tsu
Intuition, inspiration and inner vision are fundamental and abundant sources not only for creating art but also in knowing ourselves. But we often overlook or dismiss these impulses as we pass through this fast-moving world. Together we will seek to identify and explore the creative impulses that lie within each of us for use in our personal and creative endeavors.
I want to know what inspires you, what your dreams and concerns are —what ideas you have for current and future projects. How can you create even more room for inspiration and intuition in your creative process? I look forward to working with you and sharing my creative thought process with you.
Come with an open mind, enjoy the environment and genuinely connect with yourself and others. Through self-reflection, research and engaging with others in the environment, we will begin developing new creative ideas and works from multiple genres including writing, drawing, painting, photography, media, installation, and performance. My program is open to all levels in all disciplines.
I anticipate that a renewed and revitalized awareness of what inspires you will arise from our interactions and that this will lead us to apply our passion and vision for art in ways that we have never imagined. Success is a journey, not a destination. Art is a life-long Process.
